Home / Sell a business
Selling a business in Kuwait — prepared properly, sold on your terms.
Most owners sell once. We make sure that sale is prepared like an institutional process: the right price expectations, the right buyers, and terms that protect you after closing.
When owners call us.
Full exit — you want to sell the whole company and step away
Partial sale — you want to bring in a strategic or financial partner
An approach — someone has made an offer and you want to know if it is fair
Succession — the next generation does not want to run the business
Portfolio clean-up — a group is selling a non-core subsidiary
What you receive
Valuation and price expectations
Information memorandum and teaser
Financial model and data room
Buyer list — local, regional and international
Negotiation support through term sheet, diligence and closing
How the work runs.
01 · Prepare
Valuation, a clean set of numbers, and a fix-list for anything a buyer will query.
02 · Position
The equity story, a teaser and an information memorandum written for buyers, not for the owner.
03 · Approach
Confidential outreach to a screened list of buyers, with NDAs before any detail is shared.
04 · Negotiate
Comparing offers on price and terms, then managing diligence alongside your lawyers.
05 · Close
Supporting the signing, regulatory approvals and handover.
Questions owners ask us.
How long does it take to sell a company in Kuwait?
A well-prepared private company sale typically takes six to nine months from preparation to closing. Preparation is the part owners most often underestimate.
Will my staff, customers or competitors find out?
Not from us. Buyers are approached with an anonymous teaser first, and the company is named only after an NDA is signed.
Do I need competition approval to sell?
Possibly. Under Kuwait's merger control rules, a transaction that changes control may need prior notification to the Competition Protection Authority if the parties' Kuwait sales or assets exceed the current thresholds. We flag this early so it does not delay closing; your lawyers handle the filing.
What if I already have a buyer?
We can still help — testing whether the offer is fair, improving the terms, and running a light competitive check so you are not negotiating against yourself.
How are your fees structured?
Each engagement has a fixed fee agreed in writing before work starts, based on the scope and size of the business. There are no hourly bills.
Thinking about a sale, an acquisition or a valuation? Start with a 30-minute conversation.
No cost and no obligation. Every conversation is confidential, and we sign an NDA before receiving any company information.
