Questions owners ask us.
How do you value a private company in Kuwait?
Usually with three methods side by side: a discounted cash flow based on the company's own forecasts, multiples from comparable listed companies and transactions, and net assets for asset-heavy businesses. The final range reconciles them and adjusts for size, concentration and liquidity.
How long does a valuation take?
Around two weeks from receiving the information, depending on the size and complexity of the business.
What information do you need?
Typically three years of financial statements, current-year management accounts, a forecast if one exists, and key contracts. We send a short checklist after the first call.
Can you issue a formal valuation report for a merger or conversion?
Where Kuwaiti company law requires a licensed asset valuer — for example on mergers, conversions or spin-offs — the formal report is issued by a CMA-licensed valuation partner, with SHA Advisory managing the work and the analysis.
Is the valuation confidential?
Yes. We sign an NDA before receiving any information, and the work is shared only with the people you choose.
How are your fees structured?
Each engagement has a fixed fee agreed in writing before work starts, based on the scope and size of the business. There are no hourly bills.
Thinking about a sale, an acquisition or a valuation? Start with a 30-minute conversation.
No cost and no obligation. Every conversation is confidential, and we sign an NDA before receiving any company information.
